Who are YOU?
Recently I’ve found myself up against a wall….
It isn’t a wall that I can see or touch.
It is a wall created by my mind that is asking me: “who are you to deserve these incredible gifts that life is presenting?”
I wish there was a way that I could muffle this voice on command, and not let it fill me with doubt and insecurity….
It would be amazing to once and for all tear this mental wall down… but, my humanness gets the best of me and I keep hearing the voice,
“who are YOU to deserve this opportunity?”
“Who are YOU to be capable of all of this?”
And then the answer came to me loud and clear….
“Who am I not to?!”
For all I know, we only get one chance at this life, and who am I to not LIVE deeply, to not LOVE completely, to not GIVE, to not FEEL, to not TRUST and to not step….HEART OPEN and fully EXPOSED into my POWER and into my LIGHT?
There is a wall between our doubts and insecurities… our darkness and this pure light.
It must exist.
The wall serves a purpose, it allows our decision to be a conscious one. If it was easy, everyone would do it, if it was easy stepping in wouldn’t be as fulfilling…
Who am I not to take this step?
So here I go, my 35th year of life is going to be about diving in…
Now is the moment.
I feel it more than I ever have in my life….
Now is the time to SHINE!
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
